Job Description

Location: 28 Tararua Road, Levin, and surrounding areas including Manawatu, Horowhenua, Kapiti, Wairarapa & Wellington Area

Job Description:

JB’s is seeking dedicated and reliable Class 4 HydroVac Operators to join our expanding team. As our fleet grows, we are looking for energetic individuals who are proactive and committed to excellence.

Key Details:

Location Preference: Levin based ideal
Work Hours: Typically 6:00 am to 5:00 pm, with Saturday work (half-day) required
Drug-Free Workplace Policy: Zero tolerance for drugs

Responsibilities:

Drive and operate assigned Class 4 truck
Manage daily work assignments efficiently
Utilize My Trucking for job tracking and reporting
Perform pre-start checks on equipment and vehicles using Quipcheck
Monitor and maintain vehicle fluids and cleanliness
Ensure compliance with RUC, registration, and fuelling requirements
Report any vehicle concerns promptly to senior management
Participate in regular Toolbox meetings
Adhere to company Health and Safety Manual guidelines
Communicate effectively with clients when necessary

Expectations and Duties:

Adhere to company Health and Safety policies at all times
Possess appropriate licenses for operating Class 4 trucks
Execute tasks safely and efficiently with attention to detail
Lead by example in promoting a culture of safety
Wear personal protective equipment as required
Ensure completion of Health & Safety site requirements before commencing work
Respect company, client, and personal equipment and property
Maintain a clean and tidy personal appearance
Willingness to undertake other tasks within JB’s Group as required
Report incidents to management immediately
